On Behalf of the Beta Beta Chapter of Chi Omega at Washington State University:

 

My Name is Danielle Sharp, and I am privileged to serve as Chapter President of the Beta Beta Chapter of Chi Omega. Becoming a member of this chapter has truly been one of the most significant and transformative experiences during my time at Washington State University. Chi Omega has given me opportunities to develop as a leader, form lifelong friendships, and discover a genuine sense of belonging. 

When I first arrived at WSU from out of state, I faced so many uncertainties and challenges. However, Chi Omega quickly became my home away from home, more specifically, a place where I found remarkable role models, supportive friends, and an inspiring Panhellenic community. This sisterhood has inspired me to push myself both personally and academically and I am incredibly grateful for the encouragement it has brought to my life. 

As we approach to celebrating 103 years of Chi Omega at WSU, I am reminded of our chapter’s enduring strength and legacy. For over a century, our members have embodied Chi Omega’s six purposes: friendship, scholarship, service, personal and career development, high standards, and campus involvement. These values continue to define who we are and how we support each other. 

As President, my main aim is to nurture an inclusive and uplifting environment where every single woman in our chapter feels appreciated and empowered to be the best version of themselves. I am excited and deeply grateful for the opportunity to carry on the legacy of this amazing chapter and to make this term one filled with growth, connection, and accomplishment for us all.
